Jesus, Your Living Hope

Hopelessness seems to be associated with termination, expiration, and ruin.  Everything has ended.  There is nothing left. When I feel hopeless, everything around me feels dead…lifeless…extinct.  My possibilities seem crushed.  My life seems obsolete.  My power seems extinguished.

PRAISE BE TO THE GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST! IN HIS GREAT MERCY HE HAS GIVEN US NEW BIRTH INTO A LIVING HOPE THROUGH THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST FROM THE DEAD
(1 Peter 1:3).

Beloved Child, I want you to know that I know about your hopelessness. I know about the things in your life that have ended. I know about the part that feels lifeless…extinguished…in ruins.

I sent My Son, Jesus, to become your LIVING HOPE. In Him is everything you need: Life…new beginnings…new creations.  Jesus makes alive which is dead.  He creates what has never existed.  To Him there is no expiration…no termination…no end. Jesus, your Hope, is ALIVE and LIVING.  Jesus, your Hope, does not end.  Your Hope does not grow weary.  Your Hope does not sleep.

JUST AS THE LIVING FATHER SENT ME AND I LIVE BECAUSE OF THE FATHER, SO THE ONE WHO FEEDS ON ME WILL LIVE BECAUSE OF ME
(John 6:57).

Precious One, just as I, the living Father, sent Jesus to live, so you will live, BUT YOU NEED TO FEED ON JESUS.  You need to bring Him your powerlessness, so His Power may be renewed in you.  You need to lay before Him your impossibilities, so He may change them to possibilities.  You need to give Him that, which has ended, so He may create a new beginning.  Because of Jesus, you always have another chance…another beginning…another possibility.  Jesus has become your LIVING HOPE, even today. Feed on Him.

I AM THE LIVING ONE; I WAS DEAD, AND BEHOLD I AM ALIVE FOR EVER AND EVER!
(Revelation1:18).

I bless you to feed on Jesus, your Living Hope. Stop trying to make things work that do not exist anymore. Instead, bring Him your endings. Offer Him your impossibilities. Invite Him into your dead-ends. Show Him your ruins.

Stop relying on your Self. God will not start a new beginning for you while you are frantically trying to keep the ending running. Your Living Hope will only take over once you admit your dependency on Him.

PRAYER: You are my Living Hope, Lord Jesus. You never grow tired and You never sleep. I will not despair. I will not be afraid. I invite You into my impossibilities. Turn them into possibilities, Lord God. Bless my endings with new beginnings, according to Your Will.
