May God Bless You!

THE LORD YOUR GOD CARRIED YOU, AS A MAN CARRIES HIS SON,
IN ALL THE WAY THAT YOU WENT UNTIL YOU CAME TO THIS PLACE”
(Deuteronomy 1:31).

As we get to the end of this year, I bless you to reflect on all the blessings God has poured out on you this last year. How many times did the Lord God carry you, as a man carries his son, when you could not get up from the pit into which you had fallen? How many times did He pull you through, when sadness threatened to take your life? How many times did He shine His Light on you, when you were crouching in darkness?

BUT YOU WILL NOT LEAVE IN HASTE
OR GO IN FLIGHT;
FOR THE LORD WILL GO BEFORE YOU,
THE GOD OF ISRAEL WILL BE YOUR REAR GUARD”
(Isaiah 52:12).

As you stand before a brand new year, do not leave in haste or go in flight, but let the Lord God go before you into every new circumstance you will encounter.  Do not be afraid.  Agree to trust Him with all your heart, so you may know the Hope of His Calling for your life this coming year. Vow to get to know the Father of Glory, personally, so you may experience the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation.  Learn to depend on His Faithfulness, His Love, and His Holiness, so you may get to know the Riches of His Inheritance.  Make an effort to abide in His Truth, so the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened.  Strive to surrender your whole life to His Will during this next year, so you may come to know the exceeding greatness of His Power.

Then, He will go before you and He will also be your rear guard.

THAT THE GOD OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, THE FATHER OF GLORY,
MAY GIVE TO YOU THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND REVELATION
IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM,
THE EYES OF YOUR UNDERSTANDING BEING ENLIGHTENED,
THAT YOU MAY KNOW WHAT IS THE HOPE OF HIS CALLING,
WHAT ARE THE RICHES OF THE GLORY OF HIS INHERITANCE IN THE SAINTS,
AND WHAT IS THE EXCEEDING GREATNESS OF HIS POWER
TOWARD US WHO BELIEVE”
(Ephesians 1:17-19).

Think back through this last year and ponder what God has done for you and what He has taught you. Then, write your response to Him, thanking Him for His Love, Hope, and Truth that were available to you, every day, moment-by-moment, through the Blessings of the Lord Jesus.

PRAYER: I thank you, Father of Glory, for all the Blessings You poured out on my life, this last year. Thank you for all the times You carried me. Thank you for the many times the eyes of my understanding were enlightened, so I could see Your Truth, Your Power, and Your Love. I now follow You into this coming new year. To You be Glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Maintain an Awareness

When your heart hurts, both the Lord Jesus and the father-of-lies stand ready to lead you out of that pain to a solution.

A NEW MAN for Your Children

I have raised four children.  I raised them to the best of my knowledge.  Ignoring my own needs, I often got up in the middle of the night to take care of their needs.  I homeschooled them for ten years.  Yet, I was utterly surprised and disappointed when I learned that they had a sinful nature inside of them, after all. Sneaking negative, destructive beliefs into their minds and hearts during the years that I was taking such good care of them, the father-of-lies contaminated their minds, hearts, and spirits, and formed in them his sinful nature.  I thought I had prevented all of this with my diligent care and love.

Disappointed and disillusioned, I took the matter to God: “What have I done wrong?  Was my love not enough to protect my children from the father-of-lies and sin?  Was my care meaningless?”

 APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING
(John 15:5).

Filled with love and tenderness, God comforted me: Child of Mine, nothing you did for your children was meaningless.  Your love mattered.  Your care counted.  Your diligence made a difference.  However, you are no match against the father-of-lies.  Prowling around like a roaring lion, he is looking for someone to destroy all the time. He had it all figured out from the start– how to bring each person in this world to destruction through his OLD MAN nature of shame, abandonment, rejection, and condemnation. However, do not despair, My Child. I have good news for you. I sent My Son, Jesus, to save you and your children from the roaring lion.  He gave Himself as the NEW MAN to take the place of the OLD MAN nature in you and your children. Believe in Him; teach your children to believe in Him, too. Then, you and your children will receive a new life—My abundant Life.

BE STILL, AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD:…I WILL BE EXALTED IN THE EARTH
(Psalm 46:10).

As we approach the end of the year, I bless you to understand that your children need a NEW MAN nature, regardless of how well you cared for them. Surrender them to God and ask Him to exchange the OLD MAN nature of condemnation, shame, rejection, and abandonment the father-of-lies had formed in them for the NEW MAN Nature of Jesus Christ. Know that God will keep raising your children long after you have stopped…until they breathe their last breath.

FOR IT IS GOD WHICH WORKETH IN YOU
BOTH TO WILL AND TO DO OF HIS GOOD PLEASURE”
(Philippians 2:13).

Ponder the comfort these truths offer and write out a prayer for your child/children, as you surrender them to God’s care.

PRAYER: Lord God, how encouraged my heart is to know that You will keep raising my children, long after I have stopped, until they breathe their last breath here on earth.  Today, I surrender them to You. Take care of them, Lord God. Bless them and keep them. Thank you that You sent them a NEW MAN Nature to live in them in the place of the OLD MAN nature of the father-of-lies, so they may live in Your abundant Life.

God wants you to desire His Love, because He wants to pour His Love directly into YOUR heart, right there where it hurts so much.

All Scripture Is God-Breathed

ALL SCRIPTURE IS GOD-BREATHED AND IS USEFUL FOR TEACHING, REBUKING, CORRECTING AND TRAINING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS
(2 Timothy 3:16).

All Scripture is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness; however, you need the Breath of the Almighty to make it come alive in your heart.  In other words, do not separate Scripture from your relationship with God.

YOU DILIGENTLY STUDY THE SCRIPTURES BECAUSE YOU THINK THAT BY THEM YOU POSSESS ETERNAL LIFE.  THESE ARE THE SCRIPTURES THAT TESTIFY ABOUT ME, YET YOU REFUSE TO COME TO ME TO HAVE LIFE
(John 5:39-40).

Study the Scriptures diligently, beautiful Child, because they are useful for teaching, but do not use them as a substitute for your fellowship with ME, Jesus. Remember, I came to be your Wisdom from God.  Know that the Scriptures are useful for training in righteousness, but do not use them as a substitute for ME, your Righteousness from Heaven. Use the Scriptures for correction, but do not forget that you are solely dependent on ME for Redemption and Sanctification.

BUT OF HIM ARE YE IN CHRIST JESUS, WHO OF GOD IS MADE UNTO US WISDOM, AND RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND SANCTIFICATION, AND REDEMPTION
(1Corinthians 1:30).

Celebrate that the Scriptures testify about Truth—I am the Truth. Only My personal touch can turn the accusatory beliefs of condemnation, shame, rejection, and abandonment in your mind into Truth.  Know that the Scriptures testify about Love—I am Love. Only My Love in your heart can change you.  Understand that the Scriptures testify about Hope—I am Hope. Only I, Jesus, can turn your hopelessness into Hope.

Therefore, Child, read the Scriptures with the goal to connect with Me, so I may give you Life. Study the Word in order to invite Me—Love, Hope, and Truth—into your heart. Read the Bible, not only to know ABOUT Me, but to know ME, personally. I will breathe divine Revelation into your spirit, soul, and body through My Word.

What are your expectations when you read the Scriptures: to know ABOUT God, or to draw near to the Lord Jesus, so you may experience HIM in your life, through His Word?

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, meet with me when I read Your Word, so I may connect with YOU, personally.

And after we have sucked others empty and they have nothing more to give, we turn to distraction and destruction to ease the excruciating pain that oozes from our hearts…because we still believe we do not matter.

Fruit That Will Last

I committed my life to the Lord Jesus and asked Him to do everything in my life He had planned to do. Although I knew He would start something good in my life, I was afraid that the Fruit would not last.  I was wrong!  Every time I thought my Fruit had dried up and I had come to the end of the road,  I discovered MORE FRUIT.  The GOODNESS that Jesus launched in me years ago, persevered.  The FAITH that Jesus initiated in me long ago, stayed.  The PATIENCE that Jesus planted in my heart a while back, lasted.  In fact, not only did the Fruit last, but it also multiplied. It multiplied because of its Source.

 YOU DID NOT CHOOSE ME, BUT I CHOSE YOU AND APPOINTED YOU TO GO AND BEAR FRUIT—FRUIT THAT WILL LAST
(John 15:16).

Blessed Child, recognize that I appointed you to BEAR MUCH FRUIT: much Kindness, much Goodness, much Patience, much Faithfulness, much Gentleness, much Self-control, much Forgiveness, much Hope, much Faith, and much Love. Know that I chose you to BEAR FRUIT THAT WILL LAST: Fruit that will outlive the lies of the father-of-lies, Fruit that will hold up in the dark dungeons of despair, and Fruit that will persist when everything else has failed. All this Fruit will be established in you, permanently, if you stop trying to be the vine, but allow yourself to become a branch on MY Vine.

I AM THE VINE; YOU ARE THE BRANCHES.  IF A MAN REMAINS IN ME AND I IN HIM, HE WILL BEAR MUCH FRUIT
(John 15:5).

I urge you to become a branch on the Vine of Jesus; then, His Abundant Life will flow through your veins.  Place your abandonment in His hands so He may plant His Love in your heart. Place your sins on His shoulders so that His Righteousness may be established in your being.  Bring your darkness into the circle of His Presence so His Light may show you the way. Place your shame on His cross so He may crucify it. Invite Him to remove your guilt so He may lift it off your shoulders. Show Him your condemnation so He may show you His Heart.

Know that if Jesus has started producing Fruit in your life, He will continue. However, you must yield each branch to Him, moment-by-moment, so He may prune it according to His Will.

THIS IS TO MY FATHER’S GLORY, THAT YOU BEAR MUCH FRUIT
(John 15:8).

If your fruit is not lasting, you are growing it from the wrong vine. Invite the Lord Jesus to become Your Vine. Then, receive the Life, Love, and Light that flow from His being, every day…forever and ever.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, become my Vine—the Source of my Fruit—so they may last, forever.

Maintain an Awareness

This must be the hardest of all lessons to learn: to keep our eyes on the Eternal God during difficult circumstances, and trust that His everlasting arms are underneath us, holding us and keeping us safe.

My Peace I Give You

PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU; MY PEACE I GIVE YOU.  I DO NOT GIVE TO YOU AS THE WORLD GIVES.  DO NOT LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED AND DO NOT BE AFRAID
(John 14:27).

Understand that the Peace Jesus offers is not the same peace the world offers.

The peace the world offers is a kind of cease-fire between battles…a suspension of hostilities…a breathing spell before the next conflict.  The peace the world offers depends on the circumstances…the amount of antagonism…the degree of the crises.

But the Peace Jesus offers does not depend on the circumstances.  The Peace Jesus offers is perfect; it is valid and sure; it satisfies all requirements. This Peace is always available, even during the most difficult of circumstances. However, there is a condition. The Peace Jesus offers depends on your will: on your point of focus when things go wrong…on what your mind chooses to believe when things do not work out…on whom your heart trusts when you do not understand your circumstances.

THOU WILT KEEP HIM IN PERFECT PEACE, WHOSE MIND IS STAYED ON THEE: BECAUSE HE TRUSTETH IN THEE
(Isaiah 26:3).

Beloved Child, when you are anxious because of the future, or perturbed because of what someone has said, or shaken because of what someone has done, do not look at the circumstances. Look at Me, the God of Hope. Invite My Presence and Participation into your problem. Deliberately make Me your point of focus as you lay your predicament down at My feet. Let your mind rest on My Faithfulness, on My Power, and on My Goodness, instead of your trouble. Trust in Me. Have faith. Believe. Know that I, your God, will provide, despite the circumstances…if you will only let Me.

NOW THE GOD OF HOPE FILL YOU WITH ALL JOY AND PEACE IN BELIEVING, THAT YE MAY ABOUND IN HOPE, THROUGH THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST
(Romans 15:13).

May the God of Hope fill you with Peace through the Power of His Holy Spirit because you refuse to believe in your problem, but choose to believe in Him.

What kind of peace lives in YOUR heart: the kind of peace the world offers…or the kind of Peace Jesus provides? If you would like Jesus’ kind of Peace, I encourage you to surrender your problem to Him and ask Him to handle it according to HIS Will. Allow Him to take your problem out of your hands and hand you HIS solution. Then, the God of Hope will fill you with Joy and Peace in believing.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, strengthen me to believe in You, not my problem, so that You, the God of Hope, may fill me with Peace through the Power of Your Holy Spirit, while I wait patiently for Your answer.

Baptized into Life

GOD MADE HIM WHO HAD NO SIN TO BE SIN FOR US, SO THAT IN HIM WE MIGHT BECOME THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD
(2 Corinthians 5:21).

The Lord Jesus had no sin, but then He took our sin upon His own body. He did not take our sinful reactions on Himself, but the cause of our sinful reactions—the OLD MAN body of sin. After He took the OLD MAN—the negative, destructive beliefs of the father-of-lies—upon His own body, He was crucified. Thus, the OLD MAN body of sin was crucified with Him and in Him. After three days the Lord Jesus was raised from the dead by the Glory of the Father…without the OLD MAN body of sin. During His death, an exchange had taken place in Him—the OLD MAN body of sin was replaced with the NEW MAN body of Righteousness. He became sin for us…and then He became our Righteousness.

KNOW YE NOT, THAT SO MANY OF US AS WERE BAPTIZED INTO JESUS CHRIST WERE BAPTIZED INTO HIS DEATH? THEREFORE WE ARE BURIED WITH HIM BY BAPTISM INTO DEATH: THAT LIKE AS CHRIST WAS RAISED UP FROM THE DEAD BY THE GLORY OF THE FATHER, EVEN SO WE ALSO SHOULD WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE. FOR IF WE HAVE BEEN PLANTED TOGETHER IN THE LIKENESS OF HIS DEATH, WE SHALL BE ALSO IN THE LIKENESS OF HIS RESURRECTION: KNOWING THIS, THAT OUR OLD MAN IS CRUCIFIED WITH HIM, THAT THE BODY OF SIN MIGHT BE DESTROYED, THAT HENCEFORTH WE SHOULD NOT SERVE SIN
 (Romans 6:3-6).

When we are baptized, we enter into the exchange that took place in the Lord Jesus.  While we are submerged in the baptismal water, we are placed in a spiritual realm where we merge with the Lord Jesus, in death, to undergo a replacement of life. In this spiritual medium, the transaction that took place during the death and rising of the Lord Jesus is transferred to us. Under the water, our OLD MAN body of sin is crucified with the Lord Jesus and exchanged for the NEW MAN body of Righteousness. The OLD is taken off and the NEW is put on. Thus, we rise with the Lord Jesus to walk in newness of Life.

AND IF CHILDREN, THEN HEIRS; HEIRS OF GOD, AND JOINT-HEIRS WITH CHRIST; IF SO BE THAT WE SUFFER WITH HIM, THAT WE MAY BE ALSO GLORIFIED TOGETHER
(Romans 8:7).

You are ready to be baptized when you are tired of living a life of sinfully reacting to the OLD MAN–the negative, destructive beliefs deposited in your mind by the father-of-lies. During your baptism, your OLD MAN is crucified with the Lord Jesus. Thus, you are offered a new Life—the very Life of the Lord Jesus Christ, but in your body, soul, and spirit.

PRAYER: “Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s” (Psalm 103:2-5).

A Christmas Blessing

FOR TO US A CHILD IS BORN,
TO US A SON IS GIVEN,
AND THE GOVERNMENT WILL BE ON HIS SHOULDERS.
AND HE WILL BE CALLED
WONDERFUL COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD,
EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE”
(Isaiah 9:6-7).

For you a Child is born.  To you a Son is given—a Mighty God who can do immeasurably more than all you can ask or imagine.  But…you need to allow the government of your life to be on His shoulders.

NOW TO HIM WHO IS ABLE TO DO IMMEASURABLY MORE THAN ALL WE ASK OR IMAGINE…TO HIM BE GLORY
(Ephesians 3:20).

To Him be Glory!  The Everlasting Father sent His Son, Jesus, to be your Prince of Peace. He came to calm your soul from the enemy’s oppressing beliefs of being defiled, deprived, deserted, and defeated. But…you need to allow the government of your soul to be on His shoulders.

IT IS BECAUSE OF HIM THAT YOU ARE IN CHRIST JESUS, WHO HAS BECOME FOR US WISDOM FROM GOD—THAT IS, OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS, HOLINESS AND REDEMPTION
(1 Corinthians 1:30).

Rejoice! The Everlasting Father sent you a Wonderful Counselor to become your Wisdom from God. Although the wisdom that comes from your mind has been tainted by the oppressing beliefs of the father-of-lies, the Wisdom that comes from the Wonderful Counselor is pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. This Wonderful Counselor has come to show you the way, but…you need to allow the government of your mind to be on His shoulders.

BUT THE WISDOM THAT COMES FROM HEAVEN IS FIRST OF ALL PURE; THEN PEACE-LOVING, CONSIDERATE, SUBMISSIVE, FULL OF MERCY AND GOOD FRUIT, IMPARTIAL AND SINCERE
(James 3:17).

To YOU a Son has been born. What will it take for you to allow the government of your whole life to be on His shoulders?

PRAYER: I invite You, Lord Jesus, to be my Mighty God—to do immeasurably more than all I can ask or imagine in and through my life.  Let the government of my life be on Your shoulders, from this day forward.

Eyes That Do Not See

TRUST IN THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART
AND LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING;
IN ALL YOUR WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM,
AND HE WILL MAKE YOUR PATHS STRAIGHT”
(Proverbs 3:5-6).

There are ways that seem right to us, but they are wrong. There are beliefs that seem true to us, but they are false. There are paths that seem straight to us, but they are crooked. Why? We have an understanding, but it does not understand. We have eyes, but they do not see. We have ears, but they do not hear…because we have wandered from the Truth.

BRETHREN, IF ANYONE AMONG YOU WANDERS FROM THE TRUTH, AND SOMEONE TURNS HIM BACK, LET HIM KNOW THAT HE WHO TURNS A SINNER FROM THE ERROR OF HIS WAY WILL SAVE A SOUL FROM DEATH AND COVER A MULTITUDE OF SINS
(James 5:19-20).

I bless you to turn back to the Truth:
Submit every argument in your mind to God, EVEN THE ARGUMENTS THAT SEEM TRUE AND VALID.

Surrender all the paths you are on, to God’s Wisdom, EVEN THE PATHS THAT SEEM RELIABLE AND STRAIGHT.

Trust God with all your heart and stop leaning on your own judgments, EVEN THE JUDGMENTS THAT SEEM PURE AND JUST.

Acknowledge God in ALL your ways, EVEN THE WAYS THAT SEEM RIGHT AND CONFIRMED.

Then, He will make your paths straight.

‘LET NOT THE WISE MAN GLORY IN HIS WISDOM
LET NOT THE MIGHTY MAN GLORY IN HIS MIGHT,
NOR LET THE RICH MAN GLORY IN HIS RICHES;
BUT LET HIM WHO GLORIES GLORY IN THIS,
THAT HE UNDERSTANDS AND KNOWS ME,
THAT I AM THE LORD, EXERCISING LOVINGKINDNESS,
JUDGMENT, AND RIGHTEOUSNESS IN THE EARTH
FOR IN THESE I DELIGHT,’ SAYS THE LORD
(Jeremiah 9:23-24).

In what or whom do you glory, as you go about your daily chores? Whom do you trust, moment-by-moment? On what do you lean and on whom do you rely, every day of your life?

PRAYER: Lord God, I long to know You and understand You; therefore, I turn to You. Show me the Truth. Show me the Way. Show me the Path on which I should go.

The Last Shall Be First

SO THE LAST SHALL BE FIRST, AND THE FIRST LAST: FOR MANY BE CALLED, BUT FEW CHOSEN
(Matthew 20:16).

The other day, I relived a memory: I was five years old. My family was at a festival where they invited all five-year old children to enter a race. My daddy registered me to run in this race.

When the whistle blew I hardly knew in which direction to run, but the little boys and girls to the right and left of me shot forward like bullets aimed at a target and ran with all their might. I came in last.

The other day, this same memory was triggered when I looked around me at all the people who were running the race of success, acclaim, and accolades. I could not keep up with them. Time after time I came in last. Feeling forsaken and forgotten, I submitted my defeat to God: “Save me, Lord Jesus. I am tired of running the race of success. I am always last.”

Suddenly, I was five years old again, running the race at the festival, trying in vain to keep up with my fast and furious competitors. Then, with the eyes of my heart, I spotted Him—the Lord Jesus. He was sitting next to the race track, beckoning me to quit the race and come to Him, instead. When I reached Him, He placed me on His knee. Then He whispered lovingly, “Beloved Child, I love you so much. I am so proud of you for WHO YOU ARE. You do not have to prove yourself to Me by WHAT YOU DO. I already know you. Only do the things I tell you to do. That is all I want from you. In the world’s eyes, you might not be important, but in My eyes, those who are last will be first.”

Then, for the first time, I saw that the Lord Jesus was sitting with His back to the finish line. He was not at all interested in the winners that were competing for accolades and acclaim. In fact, He did not even know who was first, because He was not even looking. He was only interested in a relationship with me.

How have you fared in the race for accolades and acclaim, so far? Are you first, or have you been coming in last, most of the time?

I urge you to bring your needy heart to the Lord Jesus—the needy heart that causes you to want to be first all the time. Find the oppressing beliefs from the father-of-lies that are causing you to look for accolades and acclaim. Then, ask Jesus to exchange these beliefs for His Love.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I am tired of trying to prove myself to You and to the world, over and over again. Help me to quit the race for accolades and acclaim, to come and sit by You, instead. Meet me on the race track, so I may know that You love me just the way I am.

Since the beginning of our lives, the OLD MAN beliefs of abandonment, shame, condemnation, and rejection have been firmly planted in our minds and hearts by the father-of-lies.

AND HE WHO SENT ME IS WITH ME.  THE FATHER HAS NOT LEFT ME ALONE, FOR I ALWAYS DO THOSE THINGS THAT PLEASE HIM
(John 8:29).

Notice that the Lord Jesus left you an example: He always did those things that pleased His Father.  HIS PURPOSE WAS TO PLEASE HIS FATHER…and He came to live His Life in you, even today, to please the Perfect Father through you.

Be encouraged that you do not have to go find yourself a PURPOSE in this life. You do not have to be anxious, thinking that you do not have a purpose.  You HAVE a purpose—TO ALLOW THE LORD JESUS TO PLEASE THE PERFECT FATHER THROUGH YOU, moment-by-moment. When you allow Him to please the Father through you, He will work out all the details of your life so that your whole life will become pleasing to God.

SO THEN THOSE WHO ARE LIVING THE LIFE OF THE FLESH [CATERING TO THE APPETITES AND IMPULSES OF THEIR CARNAL NATURE] CANNOT PLEASE OR SATISFY GOD, OR BE ACCEPTABLE TO HIM
(Romans 8:8 AMP).

If you live the life of the flesh, catering to the impulses of your natural nature, you cannot please the Perfect Father.

BUT YOU ARE NOT LIVING THE LIFE OF THE FLESH, YOU ARE LIVING THE LIFE OF THE SPIRIT, IF THE [HOLY] SPIRIT OF GOD [REALLY] DWELLS WITHIN YOU [DIRECTS AND CONTROLS YOU].  BUT IF ANYONE DOES NOT POSSESS THE [HOLY] SPIRIT OF CHRIST, HE IS NONE OF HIS [HE DOES NOT BELONG TO CHRIST, IS NOT TRULY A CHILD OF GOD]
(Romans 8:9 AMP).

However, if you allow the Lord Jesus to live His Life through you—His Life of pleasing the Perfect Father—He will direct and control your life, even today, so your life may become pleasing to the Father as well.

BY MYSELF I CAN DO NOTHING…FOR I SEEK NOT TO PLEASE MYSELF BUT HIM WHO SENT ME
(John 5:30).

What is there in your life that is not pleasing to the Perfect Father? Is it your negative thoughts…your anxiety…your despair…your anger…your jealousy…your fear…your guilt…your bitterness…your pride? I urge you to submit this part of your life to the Lord Jesus and ask Him to exchange it for His Life in you. When He inhabits this part of your life, He will make sure it becomes pleasing to the Father, as well.

PRAYER: May my purpose be to allow the Lord Jesus to please You through me, Perfect Father, during this Christmas season and forever more.

Maintain an Awareness

The truth is if we do not follow God in our thoughts, we will not follow Him in our actions, either, and then we will end up with the wrong purpose.
