BE JOYFUL IN HOPE, PATIENT IN AFFLICTION, FAITHFUL IN PRAYER
(Romans 12:12).
Beloved, be patient in your affliction. Do not turn to damaging ways, trying frantically to hide from your pain. Distraction does not bring lasting relief, and wearing a mask only makes matters worse. Instead, come to Me. Let Me set you safely upon a high Rock. Remember, you have a choice. Choose to overcome
FOR IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE HE WILL KEEP ME SAFE IN HIS DWELLING; HE WILL HIDE ME IN THE SHELTER OF HIS TABERNACLE AND SET ME HIGH UPON A ROCK
(Psalm 27:5).
Beautiful One, be patient in your suffering: when someone accuses you…when someone leaves you…when someone fails you. Do not run to destructive ways, trying to relieve your pain instantly. Instead, run to Me. Let My Name be a strong Tower to you. Remember, you have a choice. Choose to overcome.
THE NAME OF THE LORD IS A STRONG TOWER; THE RIGHTEOUS RUN TO IT AND ARE SAFE
(Proverbs 18:10).
Precious Child, be patient during temptation—when someone displays his own weakness. Do not turn to unwholesome ways, trying to still your pain by blaming it on the other person’s faults. Instead, own your own pain and take responsibility for it. Let Me pull you to safety under My Wings. Remember, you have a choice. Choose to overcome.
HE WILL COVER YOU WITH HIS FEATHERS, AND UNDER HIS WINGS YOU WILL FIND REFUGE; HIS FAITHFULNESS WILL BE YOUR SHIELD AND RAMPART
(Psalm 91:4).
Are you patient during affliction, or do you turn to distraction and destruction to find relief?
Know that God expects us to overcome affliction, because “His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life” (2 Peter 1:3). Furthermore, “to him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne” (Revelations 3:21 NKJV). Remember, you have a choice. Instead of running from your pain, hiding from it, or blaming it on others, you can choose to overcome…today.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, teach me to be patient in affliction, so I may overcome.

We need to make sure that we expect Truth from the Spirit of Truth, who goes out from the Perfect Father, and not try to come up with our own counterfeit truth by logically trying to reason things out for ourselves.
