Allow Jesus to Forgive through You

JESUS SAID, ‘FATHER, FORGIVE THEM, FOR THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING’
(Luke 23:34).

I bless you to take hold of the truth that Jesus is the Perfect Forgiver.  Even though His offenders nailed Him to the cross to die, He did not blame them.  He did not repay evil with evil.  He did not keep a record of their wrongs.  Instead…Jesus forgave.

GOD SENT THE SPIRIT OF HIS SON INTO OUR HEARTS
(Galatians 4:6).

Beloved Child, I want you to capture that the same Jesus who forgave the very ones who were in the process of murdering him, resides in your heart, for I, your God, sent the Spirit of My Son to dwell in your heart, if you accept Him.

Therefore, I ask you to surrender the person you are unable to forgive to Jesus, the Perfect Forgiver, whose Spirit lives in your heart.  My Son knows how to release the resentment and bitterness that is in your heart as a result of the harm done against you.

If the abomination done against you is too big to forgive, release it to Jesus, the Perfect Forgiver, whose Spirit lives in your heart.  Jesus knows how to forgive a debt that was never paid.

If the wrongs committed against you are too many to forgive and forget, release them to Jesus, the Perfect Forgiver, whose Spirit I sent to live in your heart.  Jesus knows how to forgive friends…and enemies.

If the judgment against you was just too unfair, release it to Jesus, the Perfect Forgiver, whose Spirit lives in your heart.  Jesus knows how to grant forgiveness to an offender and bring Peace to your heart.

Allow My Son to do it for you. Then, Jesus, the Perfect Forgiver, who resides in your heart, will do what you are unable to do—He will forgive.

What kind of offenses are you unable to forgive: that someone killed your heart…that someone stole your peace…that someone destroyed your self-image?

Know that if you turn your unforgiving heart over to the Lord Jesus, He will bring your heart to the place of forgiveness, because He is the Perfect Forgiver.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, help me to be willing to turn my bitter and resentful heart over to You, because You are the Perfect Forgiver. Let me never forget that it is not what was said or done to me that caused the killing, stealing, and destroying, but what the father-of-lies did and said during the incident. Help me to turn his words over to You, so You may forgive through me.

Maintain an Awareness

It is very important that you understand that it is not so much what happened to you during your childhood that affected you the most, BUT WHAT YOU CAME TO BELIEVE ABOUT YOUR SELF, OTHERS, AND GOD, IN RESPONSE TO THE CIRCUMSTANCES (facts) of your childhood life.
