IT IS BECAUSE OF HIM THAT YOU ARE IN CHRIST JESUS, WHO HAS BECOME FOR US WISDOM FROM GOD—THAT IS, OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS, HOLINESS AND REDEMPTION
(1 Corinthians 1:30).

Blessed are you, Child, if you thirst for My Righteousness, for you will be filled.  Know that Righteousness is not a human quality, but a Gift that comes from Me. His name is Jesus Christ, My Son. I sent Him to reign in your life in the place of your sinful nature…if you let Him.

BLESSED ARE THEY WHICH DO HUNGER AND THIRST AFTER RIGHTEOUSNESS: FOR THEY SHALL BE FILLED
(Matthew 5:6).

Although I made My Righteousness available to you through My Son, it is your responsibility to decide who is going to reign in you, at each moment of each day. Precious One, you have a choice. When the jealousy, hatred, and pride that live in your sinful nature call you into sinful defense patterns, do not obey. Do not follow. Do not let your sinful nature, ruled by the negative, destructive beliefs of the father-of-lies, entice you to serve it. Rather, invite My Son to reign in your heart, instead. He is your Righteousness from Me.

THEREFORE DO NOT LET SIN REIGN IN YOUR MORTAL BODY, THAT YOU SHOULD OBEY IT IN ITS LUSTS. AND DO NOT PRESENT YOUR MEMBERS AS INSTRUMENTS OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS TO SIN, BUT PRESENT YOURSELVES TO GOD AS BEING ALIVE FROM THE DEAD, AND YOUR MEMBERS AS INSTRUMENTS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS TO GOD
(Romans 6:12-13).

Have you noticed that you have a sinful nature? How does your sinful nature manifest in you: through jealousy…through hatred…through pride? Instead of following and obeying the sinful nature in you, invite the Lord Jesus into each of these desires, whenever they show up, and let Him erase and replace them with His Righteousness.

PRAYER: Father, how marvelous is Your Gift of Righteousness—Your Son, Jesus Christ, who became my Righteousness in the place of my sinful nature.  Remind me, daily, to come to You, Lord Jesus, whenever the jealousy, hatred, and pride in my sinful nature call me to follow and obey. Instead of following these desires into sinful defense patterns, call me to turn to You, instead, Lord Jesus, and allow You to be my Righteousness.  Let me make no provision for the sinful nature to reign in and through me, but rather, allow You, moment-by-moment, to reign in me. Then, the sinful nature, ruled by the negative, destructive beliefs of the father-of-lies, will have no hold on me.
