Love One Another

A NEW COMMANDMENT I GIVE UNTO YOU, THAT YE LOVE ONE ANOTHER; AS I HAVE LOVED YOU, THAT YE ALSO LOVE ONE ANOTHER
(John 13:34).

Realize that there is an OLD MAN living his life inside you—an agglomeration of negative, destructive beliefs, instilled in your mind by the father-of-lies.  This collection of OLD MAN beliefs carries a painful, negative message of failure, defilement, and unworthiness.

When my husband and I argue, it is the presence of this OLD MAN and its degrading beliefs “You are not acceptable, You are not worthy, You are not lovable” that cause me to hate myself and consequently despise my spouse. I have noticed that my husband and I cannot love each other from the heart if we perceive ourselves as unworthy, unacceptable, and unlovable.

NOW THAT YOU HAVE PURIFIED YOURSELVES BY OBEYING THE TRUTH SO THAT YOU HAVE SINCERE LOVE FOR YOUR BROTHERS, LOVE ONE ANOTHER DEEPLY, FROM THE HEART
(1 Peter 1:22).

I bless you to understand that your spouse cannot grant you Worth, Acceptance, and God’s Perfect Love.  Instead, the OLD MAN beliefs of defilement, failure, and unworthiness, instilled in your mind by the father-of-lies, need to be given over to the Lord Jesus to be nailed to the cross.  Only after He has exchanged them for new beliefs of Worth, Acceptance, and His Perfect Love will you have sincere love for yourself, your spouse, and the other people in your life.

AND WE HAVE KNOWN AND BELIEVED THE LOVE THAT GOD HAS FOR US. GOD IS LOVE, AND HE WHO ABIDES IN LOVE ABIDES IN GOD, AND GOD IN HIM
(1 John 4:16).

Do you have a hard time loving your spouse? Do you have a hard time loving yourself? I bless you to find the oppressing OLD MAN beliefs in your mind that cause you to feel unlovable, unacceptable, and unworthy, and surrender them to the Lord Jesus. Then, you will receive the Love you need in your heart for yourself and others, for he who abides in Love abides in God, and God in him.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I have been looking for love at all the wrong places: from my friends, from my spouse, and from my parents and children. But, perfect Love comes from You, my Lord, because You ARE Love. Therefore, I lay these OLD MAN beliefs that make me feel unlovable, unacceptable, and unworthy at the foot of Your cross, O Lord. Redeem these negative beliefs, so I may love myself and others from my heart—from Your heart.

Maintain an Awareness

If the desire to matter is not satisfied through the solid Framework of God’s Presence, from the inside-out, our hearts become a black hole that sucks everyone in, for the sole and soul purpose to receive accolades…praise…glory.
