HUSBANDS, LOVE YOUR WIVES, EVEN AS CHRIST ALSO LOVED THE CHURCH, AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR IT
(Ephesians 5:25).
I bless you, husband, to love your wife, even as Christ loved you and gave Himself for you. Christ did not come to condemn you, but to save you. In the same way, I urge you not to condemn your wife when she makes mistakes or does not live up to your expectations, but to lead her to Christ, to be saved.
FOR GOD SENT NOT HIS SON INTO THE WORLD TO CONDEMN THE WORLD; BUT THAT THE WORLD THROUGH HIM MIGHT BE SAVED
(John 3:17).
I bless you, husband, to nurture your wife when she feels alone and abandoned, guiding her to Christ, that He might sanctify her from the negative beliefs that are causing her abandonment and loneliness.
I bless you, husband, to cherish your wife when she feels ashamed, bringing her to Christ, that He might cleanse her from the beliefs that are causing her shame, to render her holy and without blemish.
THAT HE MIGHT SANCTIFY AND CLEANSE IT WITH THE WASHING OF WATER BY THE WORD, THAT HE MIGHT PRESENT IT TO HIMSELF A GLORIOUS CHURCH, NOT HAVING SPOT, OR WRINKLE, OR ANY SUCH THING; BUT THAT IT SHOULD BE HOLY AND WITHOUT BLEMISH
(Ephesians 5:26-27).
Wife, I bless you respect your husband by ALLOWING him to nourish you and cherish you—to guide you to Christ to be saved from feeling abandoned, condemned, and shamed. Know that your husband is not able to cleanse you and heal you from the OLD MAN, the set of lies instilled in you by the father-of-lies. Understand that your abandonment, condemnation, and shame were not created by your husband, but has been formed in you, since childhood, by the father-of-lies. Furthermore, know that your husband cannot supply all the Love, Acceptance, and Worthiness that your heart needs, BUT he can take you to the One who can.
AND THE WIFE SEE THAT SHE REVERENCE HER HUSBAND
(Ephesians 5:33).
Husband, do you love your wife, even as Christ loved YOU and gave Himself for YOU?
Wife, do you respect your husband, considering him as worthy and of high regard?
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, show me my husband’s real heart, that I may respect him.
