AND WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD, BECAUSE ANYONE WHO COMES TO HIM MUST BELIEVE THAT HE EXISTS AND THAT HE REWARDS THOSE WHO EARNESTLY SEEK HIM
(Hebrews 11:6).
Do you believe that God exists? Do you believe that God will reward you if you earnestly seek Him? If you don’t, you need to find the why’s and how’s of your own perturbing perceptions, so you may correctly handle the Word of Truth.
BUT WHEN HE, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, COMES, HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH
(John 16:13).
What is the understanding of your own mind? Why would God not reward you? Are you too unacceptable—not worthy of reward? Have you blown it, because you have made too many mistakes? Are you a disappointment, only worthy of punishment?
THEN YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH, AND THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE
(John 8:32).
EMBRACE your perturbing perceptions—the reasoning that argues that God will not reward you at any cost. EXPOSE these irrational interpretations to the Spirit of Truth. Then, ask Him to guide you into all Truth—to EXCHANGE your perturbing perceptions for HIS Perspective.
DO YOUR BEST TO PRESENT YOURSELF TO GOD AS ONE APPROVED, A WORKER WHO DOES NOT NEED TO BE ASHAMED AND WHO CORRECTLY HANDLES THE WORD OF TRUTH
(2 Timothy 2:15).
When you know the Truth, you will become someone who feels approved—someone who does not need to be ashamed for who you are and what you have done. You will believe that you are eligible to seek God with all your heart…and receive His reward.
“You must act on what you have come to know and believe before it will ever become real in your experience, before you realize by personal experience that Jesus is alive not just in heaven but in you, every moment of every day, as the Father was alive in Him. Then, your actions will be the activity of faith.”–Major W. Ian Thomas
PRAYER: Lord God, I admit that I sometimes do not believe that You will reward me if I earnestly seek You. Forgive me, Lord, for my unbelief, as I submit my perturbing perceptions to You. Show me Your Truth, so I may act on what I have come to know—so I may correctly handle Your Word of Truth.

We have all eaten from the fruit of deception—believing and accepting negative, destructive beliefs about ourselves, God, and others that are not true.
