A Full Experience of Salvation

LIKE NEWBORN BABIES, YOU MUST CRAVE PURE SPIRITUAL MILK SO THAT YOU WILL GROW INTO A FULL EXPERIENCE OF SALVATION.  CRY OUT FOR THIS NOURISHMENT, NOW THAT YOU HAVE HAD A TASTE OF THE LORD’S KINDNESS
(1 Peter 2:2-3 NLT).

After you accept the Lord Jesus as your Savior, you will be like a newborn baby.  Even though you are reconciled to the Father through Jesus, your PAST still plays a big role in your life, because the father-of-lies has buried many beliefs of shame, condemnation, rejection, and abandonment in your childhood heart.  However, you can search and find these negative, destructive childhood beliefs of the past and surrender them to God.  He is faithful. When He exchanges these painful beliefs for His Truth, His glorious Light will enter your soul. Because you have had a taste of the Lord’s Kindness, the PAST will lose its grip on you.

As you grow more and more into a fuller experience of Salvation, the next step is to be on the alert for the father-of-lies’ negative, destructive beliefs during the PRESENT.  Accusatory thoughts enter our minds, daily.  They suggest: “God is disappointed in you; God is tricking you; God is not really in control.”  But, since you have had a taste of what God is able to do with the painful beliefs of the PAST, you can cry out for His nourishment in the PRESENT, also.  Instead of believing every negative thought that enters your mind, submit each one to God, and ask for Truth.  God is faithful. His Truth will light up your soul. When you have a taste of the Lord’s Kindness in your present circumstances, His glorious Light will shine in your heart.

Eventually, you will become so illuminated with God’s glorious Presence, that the darkness from the outside will not be able to enter your soul at all, for God’s Light in you will keep it out. Not only will this glorious Light brighten your soul, but project far into the darkness around you.  THIS IS THE FULLNESS OF YOUR SALVATION.

I bless you to taste of the Lord’s Kindness and grow into a FULL experience of Salvation in your past, as well as your present circumstances.

YOUR SUN SHALL NO LONGER GO DOWN, NOR SHALL YOUR MOON WITHDRAW ITSELF; FOR THE LORD WILL BE YOUR EVERLASTING LIGHT, AND THE DAYS OF YOUR MOURNING SHALL BE ENDED
(Isaiah 60:20).

To what degree have you grown into a full experience of Salvation?

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I cry out for Your nourishment. I crave pure spiritual milk, so I may grow into a full experience of Salvation that covers my past, my present, as well as my future.

Maintain an Awareness

Often times, we use the same defense mechanisms we saw our parents or other authority figures use, during our childhood lives. If they hid behind a smile to pretend that everything was OK, we learned to do the same.
