Perseverance Is a Tool

BY FAITH HE LEFT EGYPT, NOT FEARING THE KING’S ANGER; HE PERSEVERED BECAUSE HE SAW HIM WHO IS INVISIBLE
(Hebrews 11:27).

Do you keep your eyes on Him who is invisible, or are you watching the king’s anger?  Do you keep your eyes on Him who is invisible, or are you staring at the circumstances?  Do you keep your eyes on Him who is invisible, or are you taking stock of your failures? Do you keep your eyes on Him who is invisible, or are you looking at the lack of results?

YOU NEED TO PERSEVERE SO THAT WHEN YOU HAVE DONE THE WILL OF GOD, YOU WILL RECEIVE WHAT HE HAS PROMISED
(Hebrews 10:36).

Beloved, you need to understand that perseverance is a tool in My hands.  It is the tool I use to slay your enemies: abandonment, condemnation, rejection, and shame.  It is when you do not give up, despite the opposition, that I, the Most High, have a chance to do a miracle.  It is when you keep on going, despite discouragement, that I, the One who is invisible, have a chance to accomplish the impossible.  It is when you stand firm and keep doing what is right, despite counter-influences, that I, God Almighty, have a chance to accomplish My Purpose in you and through you.

AS YOU KNOW, WE COUNT AS BLESSED THOSE WHO HAVE PERSEVERED. YOU HAVE HEARD OF JOB’S PERSEVERANCE AND HAVE SEEN WHAT THE LORD FINALLY BROUGHT ABOUT. THE LORD IS FULL OF COMPASSION AND MERCY
(James 5:11).

I bless you to believe that there are many things God wants to accomplish in and through your life, for He is full of Compassion and Mercy, BUT YOU NEED TO PERSEVERE!  It is during perseverance that the Will of God is done.  Do not give up.  Do not stop.  Persevere!

BLESSED IS THE ONE WHO PERSEVERES UNDER TRIAL
(James 1:12).

Why are you trying to escape your trials, which God wants to use to bless you? When are you going to stop…and persevere?

PRAYER: Sovereign Lord, help me to persevere during this difficult time of my life when, every moment, I feel like giving up. Work Your Mercy and Compassion in my heart, so I would stop trying to escape my trials, but hunker down and embrace Your Will, during this time. Remove the negative, destructive beliefs of the father-of-lies that are trying to convince me that there are no answers for my hurting heart…no solutions to my many problems…no way out of my hopeless circumstances. Lift my eyes above the circumstances, that I may see You who are invisible…and thus persevere under trial.

Maintain an Awareness

Often times, we use the same defense mechanisms we saw our parents or other authority figures use, during our childhood lives. If they hid behind a smile to pretend that everything was OK, we learned to do the same.
