More Than What You Can Imagine

It is hard to let go of anxiety, is it not?

Many times, I want to help God figure things out for me.  I would ask, but then I would imagine the solution. After seeing a picture of the problem in my mind…and a picture of the solution, I would map out the whole plan of attack for God, so He would know how to solve my problem.  At the very least, I like to give Him some suggestions, based on the pictures in my own mind.  Sometimes, I cannot visualize a solution and then I think to myself, “My Father must not have a solution either, since I cannot picture it myself.”

NOW TO HIM WHO IS ABLE TO DO IMMEASURABLY MORE THAN ALL WE ASK OR IMAGINE, ACCORDING TO HIS POWER THAT IS AT WORK WITHIN US, TO HIM BE GLORY
(Ephesians 3:20).

Beloved, I can do immeasurably more than what you can ask, and immeasurably more than what you can picture in your mind. I have My own Pictures…My own Perspective…My own Revelations. If you want to know them, you need to let go of your own pictures, and let Me show you Mine. And just because you sometimes do not have a picture ready in your mind does not mean that I do not have one, either.

DO NOT BE ANXIOUS ABOUT ANYTHING, BUT IN EVERY SITUATION, BY PRAYER AND PETITION, WITH THANKSGIVING, PRESENT YOUR REQUESTS TO GOD
(Philippians 4:6).

Child, stop being so anxious. Instead, come to Me. Present your request to Me, the God of Power, along with your pictures. Show Me your picture of the problem…and your picture of the solution. Then, let Me show you My Picture…My Perspective…My Revelation. Only then, you will believe. Only then, you will receive.

What is bothering you? Are you confused? Are you anxious? Are you disappointed? See your problem in the form of a picture. If you tune in to your heart and your emotions, you will see the picture in your mind.

Present your picture of the problem AND your picture of the solution to God. Then, ask the God of Power to exchange your pictures for His.

PRAYER: God of Power, I realize that I often want to help You figure things out for myself.  God, I want to let go of this pattern and trust that You can solve my problems without my help. Create in me a mind that believes that You can do immeasurably more than the solutions I can imagine. Work Your Faith in me, so I would remember not to trust in my own pictures, but allow You, daily, to exchange my pictures for Your Revelations.

Maintain an Awareness

So, yes, the deepest urge in human nature seems to be the desire to be important–to matter. But, it is not the PRINCIPLE of wanting to be important that is wrong; instead, it is the way we adapt or the means we adopt to meet this most urgent desire of our hearts.
