Realize that one of the benefits of living a life surrendered to God…is Love.

BUT THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS LOVE
(Galatians 5:22).

Know that Love is not a change of attitude towards someone from the outside.  Love is a fruit of God’s Spirit that grows from the inside.  Love is a by-product of your surrender to God.

LOVE IS PATIENT, LOVE IS KIND. IT DOES NOT ENVY, IT DOES NOT BOAST, IT IS NOT PROUD. IT IS NOT RUDE, IT IS NOT SELF-SEEKING, IT IS NOT EASILY ANGERED, IT KEEPS NO RECORD OF WRONGS. LOVE DOES NOT DELIGHT IN EVIL BUT REJOICES WITH THE TRUTH
(1 Corinthians 13:4-6).

Beloved Child, understand that if your love is not patient, it is not Love grown by My Spirit.  This counterfeit love loves on the outside, but hates on the inside.  Love that is grown by My Holy Spirit is kind from the inside out.  It does not envy on the inside, while it boasts on the outside.  It is not Self-seeking on the inside, while it is kind on the outside.  The only love that keeps no record of wrongs is the Love that is a by-product of your surrender to Me, the Most High.

LOVE NEVER FAILS. IT ALWAYS PROTECTS, ALWAYS TRUSTS, ALWAYS HOPES, ALWAYS PERSEVERES
(1 Corinthians 13:8, 7).

Has your love failed? Does it only seek to benefit and protect your Self? Love that is a fruit of My Spirit is not Self-seeking. Its goal is to protect. Love that is a by-product of My Spirit always protects the person you love, even when the person becomes rude and disrespectful. My Love never fails. It always trusts, even when the person you love keeps a record of wrongs against you. My Love through My Spirit is not easily angered. It always perseveres, even when the person you love has failed and betrayed you.

What kind of love lives inside your heart—love that is Self-seeking, or Love that is a by-product of your surrender to God?

Ask God to grow His Love in your heart—the kind that never fails.

PRAYER: Lord God, I desire to carry Your Love in my heart—the kind of Love that is grown by Your Holy Spirit of Truth. Therefore, call me, every day, to surrender my love to You, so You may turn it into Your Love that always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres—Your Love that never fails.
