There is something in this life we all desire more than anything.  We all desire JOY!

There is something, or rather Someone in my life that brings me tremendous JOY.  It is TRUTH.  Nothing brings me more JOY than receiving the TRUTH—TRUTH through the SPIRIT OF TRUTH.

BUT WHEN HE, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, COMES, HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH. HE WILL NOT SPEAK ON HIS OWN; HE WILL SPEAK ONLY WHAT HE HEARS, AND HE WILL TELL YOU WHAT IS YET TO COME
(John 16:13).

Nothing makes me as sad…as miserable…as joyless as living in deception, believing the lies of the father-of-lies—beliefs of doom, dread, and despair. During times like these I feel insignificant, that I do not count, and that I am not special.

FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOT A MATTER OF EATING AND DRINKING, BUT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
(Romans 14:17).

I bless you to know that you are dependent on the SPIRIT OF TRUTH to receive TRUTH…and TRUTH will produce JOY.  TRUTH is not an attribute of human nature.  TRUTH is a Gift from the SPIRIT OF TRUTH.  Without it, you live in deception.  Without it, the father-of-lies reigns in your life.  Without it, there is no JOY.

BUT STEPHEN, FULL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, LOOKED UP TO HEAVEN AND SAW THE GLORY OF GOD, AND JESUS STANDING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD
(Acts 7:55).

 Like Stephen, may you be filled with the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, so you may see the glory of God in your life, instead of doom, dread, and despair. May you receive JOY!

The Apostle Paul proclaimed, “I HAVE NO GREATER JOY THAN TO HEAR THAT MY CHILDREN WALK IN TRUTH”
(3 John 1:4).

Are you sad…miserable…joyless?

You need Truth for the beliefs of doom, dread, and despair you are carrying in your heart—Truth that comes from the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER: Father God, thank you for Your GIFT—the Holy Spirit—that leads us out of the negative, destructive beliefs of doom, dread, and despair into all Truth. I desire to walk in the Truth of Your Spirit, so I may have the Joy of the Holy Spirit in my heart.
