FOR WE ARE GOD’S WORKMANSHIP, CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS TO DO GOOD WORKS, WHICH GOD PREPARED IN ADVANCE FOR US TO DO
(Ephesians 2:10).

People always complain about their personalities.  Introverts regret not being extroverts.  Extroverts regret not being introverts.  Some people believe they are not interesting enough.  Others feel they are too superficial.  Regardless of the personality, people do not seem to be satisfied with who they are.

At some point, I too wished I were different.  However, after I discovered the set of good works that GOD had prepared for me in advance, I discovered that my personality was perfect for these works, almost as if Someone had designed my personality specifically for my purpose.  Interestingly, my personality was NOT suited for the good works I HAD CHOSEN FOR MYSELF.

NOT EVERYONE WHO SAYS TO ME, ‘LORD, LORD,’ WILL ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, BUT ONLY HE WHO DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN
(Matthew 7:21).

I bless you to know that God’s Will for you is the highest Purpose for your life.  It is the best thing that has ever happened to you.  Why?  Because it is based on a plan that was created before you were even born.  It is not something that just happens haphazardly, on the spur of the moment.  It is not a hit or miss situation. This Spiritual Plan is steadfast and true and nobody can add to it or take away from it, no matter what they say or do to you.

Precious Child, be encouraged that My Eternal Plan for your life is a Master Plan that is very specific to your personality and gifts.

Therefore, do not try and change who you are. Rather, become the person I created you to be. I, the Lord God, have created your personality for My before-ordained Master Plan.  I have something very specific in mind for you, and I need your specific personality traits for that.  Instead of trying to change your personality, ask Me to show you who you really are, and to show you the specific set of good works that requires your specific personality with your specific gifts.  Then, forsake all other good works that you have chosen for yourself in this life…and cling to the good works that I have prepared for your personality, beforehand.

Do you know your God-given personality? Do you know which good works were created in advance for you to do? If you do not know, I know Someone who DOES know. His name is the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s Son. Ask Him. He will tell you.

PRAYER: Most High, whether I am an introvert or an extrovert, thank you for my specific personality. Show me who You made me to be. Show me the good works that You have chosen to match my specific personality, so I may be satisfied with who I am and what I do. Keep me from believing that I need to be someone else, in order to be accepted and worthy; instead, work Your Worth and Acceptance in my heart, Lord God, so Your Will may be done in my life, through my specific personality.
