ANYONE WHO COMES TO HIM MUST BELIEVE THAT HE EXISTS AND THAT HE REWARDS THOSE WHO EARNESTLY SEEK HIM
(Hebrews 11:6).

The Perfect Father loves to reward us—to reward us with His Presence.  I have come face to face with His Truth when I felt lost.  I have experienced His Wisdom when I felt confused.  I have tasted His Love when I felt forsaken.  I have drunk from His streams of Living Water when I felt pushed aside.  I have received His abundant Life when I felt depressed.  I have witnessed His Light in my darkness.  I have seen His transforming Power in my weakness. But, I had to invite Him into my heart with all its feelings and beliefs, first, before I was able to see, hear, and experience His rewards. I had to lift my eyes up to the Hills.

‘BECAUSE HE LOVES ME,’ SAYS THE LORD, ‘I WILL RESCUE HIM; I WILL PROTECT HIM, FOR HE ACKNOWLEDGES MY NAME.  HE WILL CALL UPON ME, AND I WILL ANSWER HIM; I WILL BE WITH HIM IN TROUBLE, I WILL DELIVER HIM AND HONOR HIM.  WITH LONG LIFE WILL I SATISFY HIM AND SHOW HIM MY SALVATION’
(Psalm 91:14-16).

Precious One, I, the Most High, want to be your God. I want to reveal My Presence to you when you are in trouble.  I want to deliver you when you feel hopeless, helpless, and powerless.  I want to honor you.  I want to rescue you from the darkness that came to destroy you. I want to protect you from evil.  I want to talk to you. But, you need to call upon Me.  You need to invite Me into YOUR heart with all its feelings and beliefs, first, in order to see, hear, and experience the rewards I have for you. You need to lift your eyes up to the Hills.

 IF GOD IS FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US?
(Romans 8:31).

Believe that all these rewards and many more await you…if you lift your eyes up to the Hills.

I WILL LIFT UP MY EYES TO THE HILLS—FROM WHENCE COMES MY HELP? MY HELP COMES FROM THE LORD, WHO MADE HEAVEN AND EARTH. HE WILL NOT ALLOW YOUR FOOT TO BE MOVED
(Psalm 121:1-3).

What do you need from God: Wisdom, Righteousness, Love, Hope, Truth, Comfort, Power, Life, or Light?

Lift your eyes up to the Hills. Invite God’s Presence and Participation into your sadness, your despair, your loss, and your trouble. He will come into your heart and perform a miracle. He will conquer the evil that is trying to destroy you. He will reward you with His Presence.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I lift my eyes up to the Hills—to You who made Heaven, and earth…and me. I invite You into my heart with all its feelings and beliefs. Come and rescue me. Come and protect me. Come and deliver me.
