Be Restored

BUT BE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND.  THEN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TEST AND APPROVE WHAT GOD’S WILL IS—HIS GOOD, PLEASING AND PERFECT WILL
(Romans 12:2).

I suffered from severe shyness, especially as a child; therefore, I became hesitant to commit and apply myself. Distrusting my own ability to act and speak what was expected of me, I was inclined to avoid people, shrinking back from contact with others. But, at some point in my life, I got tired of living my life this way. I surrendered the shy little girl in me to God. Then, He told me the Truth…and the Truth set me free:

Beautiful One, you need to know that shyness is not a feeling, but your reaction to the set of belittling beliefs the father-of-lies planted in your mind: “I do not measure up…I am not good enough…I fall short.”  With these lies, the father-of-lies put you in his box, so you would take on the personality he had in mind for you. His goal was to steal your God-given personality from you—the person you were meant to be, created in My Image.

AND THE GOD OF ALL GRACE…WILL HIMSELF RESTORE YOU AND MAKE YOU STRONG, FIRM AND STEADFAST
(1 Peter 5:10).

Precious Child, if you bring your shy box-personality with its belittling beliefs of inadequacy to Me, the God of All Grace, I will restore you to the person you were created to be in My Image. I will make you strong, firm, and steadfast, so you will have all the confidence you need to face any circumstance, any person, or any crowd. I will renew your mind with new beliefs of adequacy and bring you into My Perfect Will, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

AND GOD IS ABLE TO MAKE ALL GRACE ABOUND TO YOU, SO THAT IN ALL THINGS AT ALL TIMES, HAVING ALL THAT YOU NEED, YOU WILL ABOUND IN EVERY GOOD WORK
(2 Corinthians 9:8).

Are you tired of being someone you were NOT meant to be—someone who feels inadequate, unworthy, and shy?

If you want to change and become the person you were created to be, submit these underlying, belittling beliefs in your mind to God, together with the place and time they were born. Then, let His Grace renew your mind, so you could become the person you were always meant to be.

PRAYER: God of All Grace, I bring myself to you—the person I have become under the influence of the father-of-lies. Exchange the person in this box for the real person who was created in Your Image, so that in all things, at all times, I will have all the confidence I need to face any circumstance, any person, or any crowd.  To You be Glory!

Many of these untrue childhood conclusions grouped together to raise a spirit of defilement in us—the OLD MAN mentality that duped us into thinking we were doomed and damned, for life.
