Have you grown up with a lot of disapproval, criticism, or accusations—sins committed by other people?  Know that the father-of-lies will use these sins as an opportunity, long after the occurrences, to tell you that you are doomed, guilty, and unfit for life. Maybe all this disapproval has caused you to live your entire life according to the question: “What will people think of me?” Maybe this opened an ugly can of worms in your life—striving for accolades…living for fame and fortune…inventing your own righteousness.

BECAUSE THROUGH CHRIST JESUS THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE SET ME FREE FROM THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH
(Romans 8:2).

Beloved One, you need to know that it is not the childhood incidences of sin that have placed you under condemnation, but the father-of-lies who placed your spirit, soul, and body under the law of sin and death. It is this law that caused the doom, damnation and defeat in your life, in the first place. But, I have GOOD NEWS!  I, the Perfect Father, sent My Son, Jesus Christ, as a Ransom to redeem your spirit, soul, and body from the sins committed under the first covenant. Through Him, I introduced a new law—the Law of Life.

FOR THIS REASON CHRIST IS THE MEDIATOR OF A NEW COVENANT, THAT THOSE WHO ARE CALLED MAY RECEIVE THE PROMISED ETERNAL INHERITANCE—NOW THAT HE HAS DIED AS A RANSOM TO SET THEM FREE FROM THE SINS COMMITTED UNDER THE FIRST COVENANT
(Hebrews 9:15).

Child, stop striving for accolades, fame, fortune, and your own righteousness to seek freedom from a life filled with doom, damnation, and defeat. Rather, come to My Son, Jesus. Submit your childhood criticism with its ugly words of condemnation to the Mediator of the new covenant. Allow Him to set you free from the sins committed under the first covenant. Come under the new Covenant of My Son, Jesus, and live your life under the new Law of Life.

Are you still suffering from doom, damnation, and defeat? Are you still living under the first covenant? Are you still subject to the father-of-lies’ law of sin and death? What will it take for you to allow the Lord Jesus to set you free from the sins committed under the first covenant? What will it take to come under His new Law of Life?

PRAYER: Thank you, Everlasting Father, for sending Your Son to become the Mediator of a new Covenant. Thank you that You sent Him to me with a new law—the Law of Life. Thank you, Lord Jesus, that You came to be my Ransom, so I may live under a new covenant and under a new law. I submit myself and the sins committed under the old covenant to You, the Mediator of the new Covenant. I place the doom, damnation, and defeat that have followed me all my life, under Your Law of Life, so I may be free.
