NOW THE MIND OF THE FLESH [WHICH IS SENSE AND REASON WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT] IS DEATH [DEATH THAT COMPRISES ALL THE MISERIES ARISING FROM SIN, BOTH HERE AND HEREAFTER]. BUT THE MIND OF THE [HOLY] SPIRIT IS LIFE AND [SOUL] PEACE [BOTH NOW AND FOREVER]
(Romans 8:6 AMP).

Capture that the human mind loves to reason without the Holy Spirit.  However, reasoning without the Holy Spirit leads to sin and death, both here and hereafter.  Reasoning without the Holy Spirit causes you to become anxious about your circumstances, because deep inside, you know you have rebelled against God’s Will that wants to take care of every aspect of your life.

The Most High wants you to submit your life to Him, completely. He wants you to subject your will to Him, entirely. When you become willing to allow God to take care of every aspect of your life, you will receive Peace for your anxiety, for the mind of the Holy Spirit is Life and Peace.

CASTING THE WHOLE OF YOUR CARE [ALL YOUR ANXIETIES, ALL YOUR WORRIES, ALL YOUR CONCERNS, ONCE AND FOR ALL] ON HIM, FOR HE CARES FOR YOU AFFECTIONATELY AND CARES ABOUT YOU WATCHFULLY
(1 Peter 5:7).

You might ask: “How do I show God that I am willing to let go of my rebellion and submit to His Will? How do I enter into His Presence, so I might be led by the mind of His Spirit? How do I show God that I am ready for Him to take care of every aspect of my life?”

ENTER INTO HIS GATES WITH THANKSGIVING, AND INTO HIS COURTS WITH PRAISE: BE THANKFUL UNTO HIM, AND BLESS HIS NAME
(Psalm 100:4).

Be thankful unto Him and bless His name. Praise Him for every aspect of your life, good or bad, every moment of every day. This will allow your spirit to enter into His courts—His Presence. This will submit your mind to the reasoning of the Holy Spirit, who will lead you according to His Purpose. This will establish His Faith in your heart, enabling you to believe that He cares for you, affectionately. This will root you in Christ Jesus, continually building you up in Him. Try it…every day, this whole season. You will be amazed at the results.

ROOTED AND BUILT UP IN HIM, AND STABLISHED IN THE FAITH, AS YE HAVE BEEN TAUGHT, ABOUNDING THEREIN WITH THANKSGIVING
(Colossians 2:7)

How will you show YOUR willingness to God to submit to His Will?

PRAYER: Everlasting Father, instead of submitting to the reasoning of my own mind, I choose to be willing to submit my whole life to You, this Christmas.  Therefore, I thank You for every aspect of my life, just the way it is, right now…good or bad. I thank You for my past. I thank You for my future, for You care for me, affectionately.
